St. George's

St. George's is the largest town and also the Capital of Grenada. Views shown here are from Fort George strategically located on a hill overlooking the ocean, the town and the town's beautiful natural harbor.

The harbor area of St. George's, known as the Carenage, is home to many shops and restaurants and is half of the action in St. George's. The other half of the action can be found on the other side of the hill of St. George's at Market Square where all sorts of fruits, vegetables and spices can be found.
