Contrary to what you might think, New Mexico is far from a desolate desert. Before I went on my trip, most people's reaction was "New Mexico?? What's there?". This will show only a few of the many sites and places to visit.

The tour starts off at Albuquerque, where you'd mostly likely fly into.

Just on the outskirts of Albuquerque is the
Petroglyph National Monument where you
can see more than 15,000 ancient Indian
drawings, carved into rocks (petroglyphs).
There are 3 easily accessible hiking areas,
or you can venture out on your own into
the undeveloped portion of the park.
