Acoma Pueblo

New Mexico is rich in Indian culture. Pueblos can be found
virtually everywhere as most of the land belongs to various
Indian reservations. One of the most interesting is the Acoma
Pueblo, about an hour from Albuquerque.

Perched high on a 360+ ft. mesa, Acoma Pueblo is the
oldest continuously inhabited pueblo in the country.

Being that high has its advantages, not least of them being
spectacular views, like the one below of the Enchanted
Mesa, where the Acoma Tribe used to live before the
only access to the top collapsed long ago.
