Sandia Mountains and Tramway

Back just outside of Albuquerque is the Sandia Mountains,
which rise to the 10,000+ ft level. The most scenic way to
get to the top is the Sandia Tramway, featuring the longest
span between support towers.
Besides the views, you spot an occasional thunderstorm,
like this one. Although thunderstorms are common during
certain months of the year, New Mexico in general has
the best weather in the country.
